The news of Mark Ingram being suspended for the first four games of the 2018 Season caught everybody off guard when it broke on Tuesday. Ingram apparently failed a test meant to detect the use of performance enhancing drugs (PEDs). This coming on the heels of his best season in Black and Gold.
It’s taken a while to get there, but Ingram has established himself as the bell cow of the Saints running game. Even with the addition of star teammate Alvin Kamara. This being the final season of Ingram’s current contract in New Orleans, the Saints will have to explore some options.
