Once 'young and dumb,' LeCharles Bentley preaches living after football instead of dying for it

New Orleans Saints Pro Bowl offensive lineman LeCharles Bentley was willing to die on a football field.

He once lived life with the same mentality as former LSU standouts Jamal Adams and Morris Claiborne, both of whom passionately stated earlier this week that the perfect place to die would be while playing the game.

Bentley, though, actually faced the choice of living without football, or dying because of it.

Keana McMahon, the the ex-wife of the late Steelers offensive lineman Justin Strzelczyk who was diagnosed with CYE after his death in 2003, said Adams' comments was as if he defecated on her husband's grave.
