New Orleans Saints defensive lineman Mitchell Loewen joined the team last year as an undrafted free agent but was un able to compete fro a spot on the roster because of an injury he sustained in college.
"Second to last game of the year in Baton Rouge at LSU I broke my foot," said the former Arkansas Razorback. "Had surgery immediately after that and went through the draft process, got picked up, came here and they reevaluated my foot when I got here and saw I had to have the same surgery redone because it didn't heal right.
