At this point, it’s well-known that Mickey Loomis likes to find depth for the New Orleans Saints in undrafted free agency. Even though, like every GM, he misses more than he hits in UDFA, he’s a big proponent of giving players a chance. Nick Underhill recently went through and found that over the past five years, the Saints have signed 99 UDFAs, good for tied sixth in the league.
The Saints should add another to their ranks, local wide receiver Dai’Jean Dixon. Dixon, who played at Nicholls State University, broke school career records in receptions, touchdowns and yards.
