New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees joined several of his teammates on the Top 100 Players of 2020 listing from NFL Network, as voted on by his peers, but he slipped ten spots from his placement on the 2019 ranking.
Last year, Brees was named the second-best player in the NFL, behind Los Angeles Rams superstar defensive tackle Aaron Donald. But in 2020, he’s fallen out of the top-10 altogether, slipping down to the No. 12 spot.
Some of that is to be expected; Brees did miss five games with an injured thumb last year, and didn’t look like himself at times.
