This is one of those stories where you wonder who’s keeping count of things like how many guys there are on the roster. Last week, the Saints added two new players on reserve/futures contracts. Jayrone Elliott, a linebacker and former Green Bay Packer, and Josh Huff, a wide receiver most recently with the Eagles.
But, according to an article by Herbie Teope of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, the signings put the Saints roster at 92 players. If the Saints want another shot at either Huff or Elliott, they’ll need to sort things out and reapply.
