The NFC South is a strange division. It’s, arguably, the most competitive in football. Since it formed in 2002, each team has won at least three division titles and been to a Super Bowl. None of the teams has swept the division in a season. And before the Panthers did it in 2014, no team had won back to back division titles. The Panthers won three in a row from 2013-2015 and if the Saints win this season, it will be their third in a row as well.
The parity in the division is more of a historic nature though.
