The New Orleans Saints had a new quarterback on the field at Tuesday's minicamp practice as former New York Giants backup Ryan Nassib made his debut with the full team.
"He's someone we liked coming out of the draft," said Saints coach Sean Payton. "We had to wait for him to rehab an injury. We brought him in. He threw last week -- he visited a couple other teams -- and fortunately we were able to get him signed."
Payton said the Saints had tried to bring Nassib in earlier but he was still rehabbing an injured arm but once he was healthy enough to throw the Saints brought the four-year veteran in.
