The New Orleans Saints are in a tough spot with the news of Michael Thomas’ injury sidelining him for the start of the regular season. They’re now in a situation where their best receiver option is Tre’Quan Smith, whose career-high in receiving yards is 448. This is not an ideal situation for the Saints.
The time is now for the Saints to make a big trade for a wide receiver and while Tim Patrick isn’t the biggest name out there, he’d be a great addition to the Saints’ offense.
