WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.Va -- If the stats are any indication, Dustin Hopkins appears to be leading the kicking battle over Zach Hocker.
Hopkins had another perfect day at Saints practice on Wednesday, hitting 4-of-4 field goals to extend his camp record to 15-of-15. He has also consistently shown more leg strength on kickoffs than Hocker.
The Saints will be taking a hard look at accuracy between the two kickers, particularly with PATs now extended to 33 yards.
"At the end, what I think is the most important is how they are hitting their field goals and obviously their PATs now," said Saints coach Sean Payton.
