It’s gumbo week, everyone.
Marcus Peters, who famously said he can’t wait to eat a bowl of gumbo with Sean Payton after the Rams’ Week 9 loss to the Saints, is ready to share that meal with the Saints head coach.
On Monday, one day after learning that the Rams will face New Orleans in the NFC championship, Peters teased the upcoming game on Twitter before deleting it.
Twitter didn’t forget about the shot Peters took at Payton earlier this season, telling the coach to “keep talking that (expletive).” He essentially predicted this rematch between the Rams and Saints a month ago, saying “I hope he sees me soon.
