As the guy who posted the fastest 40-yard dash among all defensive linemen at the 2018 scouting combine, fast is all first-round defensive end Marcus Davenport knows. His new coaches with the New Orleans Saints are making sure he continues to operate in that one gear.
“It got to a certain point where they’re just like, ‘We want you to play fast. It doesn’t necessarily matter if you mess up; just go fast,'” Davenport said.
