Julio Jones has gotten his wish: NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports that the Atlanta Falcons All-Pro wide receiver will be traded to the Tennessee Titans, which ESPN’s Dianna Russini confirmed will happen in the next day or two, “barring any setbacks.” Jones must first pass a physical upon being traded, and the Titans have to clear some salary cap space to fit his contract on the books, but this saga appears to be nearing its conclusion.
But it isn’t all good news for Jones. He’s still going to play an old rival in the New Orleans Saints, who haven’t allowed him to score a touchdown against them since they drafted defensive backs Marshon Lattimore and Marcus Williams in 2017.
