Former New Orleans Saints left tackle Jermon Bushrod has put in his time into the NFL. The two-time Pro Bowler hasn’t announced his retirement after returning to the Saints in 2018 (spending the previous years in stops with the Chicago Bears and Miami Dolphins), but he also has yet to sign with a new team. Barring a free agent visit with the Carolina Panthers back in March, Bushrod has spent his summer taking it easy and getting caught up on chores around the house.
Now, that doesn’t mean he hasn’t forgotten what training camp is like. Summers in New Orleans are a sweltering, humid mess that can see the big guys like Bushrod shed ten pounds after just a few hours of practice.
