What in the world the Saints and Jared Cook’s lawyers could be hashing out over his contract to come play in New Orleans, it’s taking far too long. The 2019 NFL free agency period started with the first day of the league’s fiscal year, Wednesday, Mar 13.
That’s when we started to hear about the Saints and Cook getting together for a talk. The next day, Thursday the 14th was to be big meet, then nothing.
