Houston Texans pledge $1 million to Harvey flood relief; J.J. Watt's fundraiser easily hits goal

The Houston Texans and owner Bob McNair have pledged $1 million dollars to help those affected by Hurricane Harvey, the team announced Monday.

The Texans, who flew to Dallas after Saturday night's 13-0 exhibition loss to the New Orleans Saints at the Mercedes-Benz Superdome, shared practice space with the Dallas Cowboys, who opened their facility to them.

Star defensive end J.J. Watt on Sunday afternoon set up a fundraising page at YouCaring.com with the goal of raising $500,000. Less than 24 hours later, he had reached his goal and raised it to $1 million.
