One-time New Orleans Saints long snapper Jon Dorenbos did not have a long career for the black and gold, but he made it memorable. Dorenbos arried to New Orleans in a 2017 trade from the Philadelphia Eagles, but Saints team doctors discovered a dangerous heart condition in his physical that had been previously unnoticed. Before that stunning medical episode, Dorenbos endeared himself to teammates, local media, and fans with his skills as a stage magician.
Dorenbos ultimately fell short, but he impressed the judges on the 2016 season of “America’s Got Talent” so much that he’s been invited back for a best-of-the-best competition between former finalists and contestants from around the world.
