Earlier this week, the New Orleans Saints claimed two players off of the NFL's waiver wire. Called by former Saints linebacker, Scott Shanle, the best waiver claim of any team, former Tampa Bay Buccaneers wide receiver Trey Palmer is already generating excitement.
Palmer is yet another speedy receiver that can now be found in the Saints' wide receiver room. He ran a 4.33 40-yard dash at the 2023 NFL combine. Taken in the sixth round out of Nebraska by the Buccaneers back in 2023, he has notched respectable numbers in his first two seasons in the NFL, gathering 51 receptions for 557 yards and four touchdowns.
