Former New Orleans Saints fullback John Kuhn formally entered retirement on Wednesday, March 6. Kuhn chose to retire with the Green Bay Packers, where he played nine years before finishing his career with New Orleans. Kuhn came through in some big moments for the Saints in the 2016 and 2017 seasons after appearing in 139 regular season games for Green Bay. He rapidly became a fan-favorite in the Mercedes-Benz Superdome.
Kuhn lost most of the 2017 season with a biceps injury, though he was activated in time for the playoffs. Mutual interest in a return for the 2018 season did not materialize, and he’s since branched out into radio.
