ESPN’s Field Yates was reporting this afternoon, Monday, Jul 22, that the New England Patriots were working out former Saints and LSU wide receiver Travin Dural along with others.
Dural had a strange journey getting to the Saints and again once he joined the team. The former standout from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana was a four-star recruit coming out of high school. But he only received solid offers from LSU and Alabama with offers to walk-on at Louisiana Tech and TCU.
He came on in Baton Rouge as a freshman in 2012 but had to sit out that season due to a torn meniscus.
