WHITE SULPHUR SPRINGS, W.VA. -- The New Orleans Saints started training camp on Thursday, and everything appeared to go as planned.
The defense had the better performance for most of the first day, so surely the offense will try to bounce back.
None of the players left practice with an injury, but Day 2 of camp should reveal if anything minor happened that forced a player to miss some time. Sean Payton also said he doesn't expect left tackle Terron Armstead and cornerback Keenan Lewis, who are both on the physically unable to perform list, to be out long, so perhaps today's practice will reveal how close they are to returning.
