On Wednesday, news broke that the New Orleans Saints and 2019 All-Pro right tackle Ryan Ramczyk agreed upon a five-year $96M extension. This will keep the 2017 first-rounder under contract through the 2026 season. Though another extension is certainly possible if Ramczyk continues to be one of the best tackles in the game.
The former Wisconsin Badger has been one of the best and most consistent young stars on the Saints roster since he was selected four seasons ago. He’s started all but one game for which he was eligible, which is impressive considering he was drafted while Zach Strief was still on the roster ahead of an unfortunate injury that sidelined him for Ramczyk’s rookie season.
