Drew Brees and his wife, Brittany, decided to get involved with the K9s for Warriors program after they learned about it last year while attending New Orleans Saints coach Sean Payton's Black and Gold Gala.
So they sponsored a service dog, a German shepherd mix named "Brees." K9s for Warriors announced Monday that the service dog is going home with U.S. Air Force veteran April Sandlin.
