New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees went on WWL Radio with hosts Bobby Hebert and Kristian Garic to review the additions and changes his team went through this offseason. And he made it clear that he feels the Saints have put him in the best position to succeed.
“Guys take angles on (Jared Cook) an all of a sudden, he’s by them,” said Brees, when asked about his new tight end. His first impression of Cook’s athleticism has the quarterback pumped up, especially when considering who will be running routes alongside him. “When you have weapons like (Alvin) Kamara and (Michael) Thomas, a lot of attention goes to them.
