It’s been a long road for New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees. He got his first start decades ago at Westlake High School a Texas powerhouse. Football has taken him from there to cold Purdue, sunny San Diego, and most famously, New Orleans. It will also take him to the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Ohio, someday.
Brees credits much of his success to his desire to stay competitive. Getting complacent is the worst thing he can imagine. If he’s going to be great and keep playing in his 40’s, with almost two decades in the NFL behind him, he has to stay hungry.
