The New Orleans Saints were without starting quarterback Drew Brees on Tuesday during one of their minicamp practice sessions. Mike Triplett of ESPN reported that Brees was still away from the team while testifying in his lawsuit against a San Diego jeweler.
Brees took the stand last week, and NBC 7 San Diego reported that his wife Brittany would testify some time this week. He is on hand to support his spouse and hear testimony from the defendant, Vahid Moradi, a former business partner.
