The final top 10 players of the NFL Top 100 were released last night. At the top spot was reigning defensive player of the year, Aaron Donald. The Saints’ play-caller, Drew Brees, wasn’t too far behind.
Brees was ranked the second-best player in the league for the 2018 Season. This put him four spots ahead of Tom Brady and six spots ahead of Aaron Rodgers.
Brees has had a history of going under-appreciated in the Top 100. Similar to teammate Cam Jordan, Brees’ numbers were constant and expected.
