METAIRIE, La. -- New Orleans Saints quarterback Drew Brees is helping create a special fan experience for Thursday night's preseason game against the Baltimore Ravens as a way to raise money for victims of the recent flooding in South Louisiana.
Brees will raffle off 10 pairs of tickets, pregame sideline passes and seats in his family suite. He'll also greet the winners on the field before the game for a photo. Raffle tickets are on sale until 5 p.m. ET on Wednesday.
"(I was) just wanting to find whatever way possible to be able to help the folks down there," said Brees, who also has plans in the works to join Nike and the NFL to replace football equipment lost by schools in the area, among other efforts.
