The first thing we noticed were the cars in the parking lot. Spotless black and silver SUVs with tinted windows beside a brand new Jeep Wrangler Rubicon, a massive tire bolted to its trunk. It was as if members of SEAL Team 6 had decided to spend a sunny Friday afternoon riding go-karts at NOLA Motorsports Park in Avondale.
But these cars did not belong members of the military. As we soon discovered, they belonged to members of the New Orleans Saints.
It began to dawn on us as we stood behind them in line to buy a single race on the Arrive & Drive Go-Karting Track.
