Dominant Panthers Hand Saints Ugly 26-7 Loss

Fresh off a 38-3 dusting of the Green Bay Packers in week one, the New Orleans Saints were now traveling to Charlotte to face the Sam Darnold-led Carolina Panthers. The Panthers were 1-0 after a 19-14 victory over the New York Jets in week one, and were looking to go 2-0 to start an NFL season for the first time since 2017. The Saints however, had won 10 straight games against NFC South opponents.

The Panthers dominated the first half, winning the game in the trenches both offensively and defensively, racing out to a 10-0 lead midway through the second quarter and taking a 17-0 lead into halftime.
