The New Orleans Saints have made another free agent addition to their offensive line. Early in free agency they nabbed guard Larry Warford from Detroit. Now, they’ve once again fortified the interior by signing guard Orlando Franklin.
Franklin is a 29-year old offensive guard who spent the past two seasons with the Chargers. He also has experience playing right tackle when he played for the Denver Broncos, so he should bring versatility to the Saints offensive line. He has been able to stay healthy for the most part and has started all 89 games he’s appeared in during his six-year career.
