Despite Saints’ struggles, rivalry with Falcons makes game a must-see

OK, we’ve seen that the Saints couldn’t beat the Cardinals, Buccaneers, Panthers and Eagles.

But Beethoven, Rossini, Tchaikovsky and Mendelssohn?

They didn’t have a chance.

For the uncultured among you, the aforementioned quartet is not the front four of the Atlanta Falcons, but the featured composers in the Louisiana Philharmonic Orchestra’s Viva Italia! concert which was to have debuted Thursday night at the First Baptist Church of Kenner.

However, when the powers that be at the LPO got a gander at the Saints schedule and saw that the Black & Gold was facing their archrivals that night, they moved their shindig up to Wednesday.
