Another week, another slew of lofty praise is being heaped on New Orleans Saints rookie running back Alvin Kamara.
He was nominated earlier this week for his seventhNFL Rookie of the Week award after posting 200 + all-purpose yards and scoring two combined touchdowns versus the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 17.
Kamara’s play was highlighted by the longest kick return touchdown in team history when he stuttered out of the end zone and ran 106-yards, untouched, in the opening quarter of the game. Check out the rookie’s historic return here.
Not only is Kamara heavily favored to become the Offensive Rookie of the Year, but current NFL analyst Deion Sanders thinks he should be in the running for the league’s MVP award.
