TEMPE, Ariz. – The Honey Badger is taking a break from social media.
Arizona Cardinals safety Tyrann Mathieu temporarily shut down his Twitter account Thursday, Denise White, the CEO of EAG Sports Management, which represents Mathieu, confirmed to ESPN on Thursday night. She said Mathieu “is taking a break for a while” and added there isn’t a timeline for his return to the social media platform.
But White said Mathieu’s time away from social media had nothing to do with his recent remarks on Twitter regarding the death of former New Orleans Saints defensive star Will Smith.
