A dozen different New Orleans Saints players caught at least one pass in Sunday night’s win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: the entire list of eligible receivers on offense, except for reserve running back Dwayne Washington (whose 9 rushing yards in mop-up duty at the end of the game outpaced the entire Buccaneers team, which gained only 8 yards on the ground combined).
It was an impressive team effort as Drew Brees deftly spread the ball around, hitting familiar targets like Michael Thomas and Alvin Kamara as well as first-year teammates Emmanuel Sanders and Adam Trautman (who caught his first career touchdown pass).
