The NFL has moved the Week 5 game between the Denver Broncos and New England Patriots to Monday night, according to KUSA-TV’s Mike Klis.
The move comes after the New England Patriots played a Monday night game in Week 4 at the Kansas City Chiefs after starting quarterback Cam Newton tested positive for COVID-19. That game was originally scheduled as a Sunday afternoon contest.
The Patriots are working their way through their coronavirus situation, as the team had to go virtual and couldn’t hold on-field practices the last two days. New England had zero positive COVID tests on Thursday,
