Saints quarterback Drew Brees rallied his team to recover from a sloppy start, lobbing a pair of touchdown passes to tight end Jared Cook and a third to all-star wide receiver Michael Thomas.
Thomas may have been the man of the hour, having broken Marvin Harrison’s NFC record for the most receptions in a single season. Thomas finished the day with 145 receptions in 2019, with a game yet to play.
