Kenny Vaccaro has left the struggles of his sophomore season behind.
Despite playing on a defense that will finish at or near the bottom of the NFL in most categories, Vaccaro has proven his rookie season was no fluke, racking up 98 tackles, three sacks, five pass breakups and a forced fumble heading into the season finale.
Vaccaro, who has been healthy all season for the first time in his NFL career, has matured into the kind of professional whose preparation is second to none.
“Kenny took it upon himself this year to really become a pro,” defensive coordinator Dennis Allen said.
