The Saints first official injury report of 2018 is short. Blessedly short, in fact. This time last year, the first report of 2017 listed six players. On this year’s first list, there are only two names, Andrus Peat and Jermon Bushrod. But they are important names heading into this contest.
Offensive line depth has been a nagging issue for the Saints over the past few seasons. In his five seasons in the NFL, starting left tackle Terron Armstead never played a full slate of games. Since becoming a starter, he’s missed more than 20 games due to injury.
