The New Orleans Saints won’t grace the cover of “Madden NFL 20,” but they will feature heavily in its marketing. Saints running back Alvin Kamara was the star of the latest promotional video from EA Sports, highlighting Kamara’s versatility as an X-factor in the passing game.
In the brief clip, Kamara runs a simple angle route out of the backfield, lined up against Tampa Bay Buccaneers outside linebacker Noah Spence on second and goal from the 20-yard line. Kamara effortlessly separates from Spence before reeling in the catch, then evades a tackle from Buccaneers linebacker Kazhin Daniels. But he’s not finished yet; Kamara continues racing upfield, tanks a hit from Tampa Bay safety Justin Evans, and stays on his feet to drag rookie cornerback Sean Murphy-Bunting (who dove in a beat too slow) into the end zone for a Saints touchdown.
