The Big Ten is kicking off their 2020 season this weekend, so it’s time for a 2021 NFL mock draft for the New Orleans Saints. And this one actually features a pick for the Saints in all seven rounds — while they traded their initial third- and sixth-round selections in last year’s draft, the Saints are projected to recoup compensatory draft picks in each of those rounds after losing Teddy Bridgewater and A.J. Klein in free agency.
I tried to approach this with a sense of what the Saints may do in free agency after the season, like re-signing pass rusher Trey Hendrickson and quarterback Jameis Winston, while losing Drew Brees to retirement and letting a couple of linebackers go.
