The New Orleans Saints went into this free agency period with two unrestricted free agents and one restricted free agent at quarterback.
The re-signed aging future Hall of Famer Drew Brees. Teddy Bridgewater was the other unrestricted free agent. They placed Taysom Hill on a first-round tender so he’ll likely be staying around as well.
Bridgewater ended up leaving for the division rival Carolina Panthers. He will be their starting quarterback going forward. The last one is Taysom Hill. The New Orleans Saints put a first-round tender on him as a restricted free agent.
The jury is still out as Hill is still a free agent, but all the signs point back to him re-signing with New Orleans.
