Where do the New Orleans Saints go from here? They’ve exited a much-needed Week 6 bye with a 3-2 record that they were lucky to achieve; they’d be 1-4 if the Detroit Lions and Los Angeles Chargers could have held onto double-digit leads.
But the Saints showed rare resilience in both of those games. And they flashed enough potential in their other matchups to make you think they can overcome the hurdles ahead of them. The defense has a lot to work on (particularly in the passing game), and the offense has accomplished plenty (ranking sixth-best in points scored per game) with room still to improve.
