On Monday, Apr. 8, Yardbarker released a three-round mock draft that did something we haven’t seen yet but is a strong possibility. Their mock draft had a run on wide receivers. And not just a minor run. This was a run of the sort that helped the Saints land Marshon Lattimore in the 2017 NFL Draft and also let the Kansas City Chiefs get Patrick Mahomes. The Yardbarker mock has the Saints taking North Carolina State wide receiver Kelvin Harmon at pick 62 as a consequence.
In the Yardbarker mock, the receivers don’t start coming off the board until pick 13 but then it’s on.
