Who Dat Dish’s final mock draft of the 2019 Season will be coming out shortly. In getting prepared, I had done extensive, I thought, study on Ohio State defensive tackle Dre’Mont Jones. And it’s easy to see why. On paper, he looks like exactly what the Saints need. He’s a penetrating, three-technique defensive tackle who should be an excellent fill-in for Sheldon Rankins and David Onyemata short-term. And maybe long-term with both of those players coming up on contract years.
Pro Football Focus just released their Top 250 list. The Saints pick at 62, Dre’Mont Jones is 62 on their ranking.
