The New Orleans Saints don’t have many selections in the 2019 NFL Draft, but they were able to juice up their offense in the latest mock-up from Luke Easterling over at the Draft Wire: wide receiver Deebo Samuel, a South Carolina Gamecocks product.
Samuel shredded every defensive back that lined up across from him during Senior Bowl practices, and is set to feature in the exhibition game itself. He’s runs excellent routes and makes the most of his catch radius, despite weighing in at just 5-foot-11, 216-pounds with a 74 1/2-inch wingspan. Samuel is as pro-ready as they come.
