Saints WR Willie Snead Suspended For First 3 Games Of Season

The New Orleans Saints will be without one of their top wide receivers to open the season. Willie Snead has been suspended for the first three games of the season.

The suspension was reduced from four games to three on appeal.

With Brandin Cooks in New England, Snead was expected to play a bigger role for the Saints. Last year, he caught 72 passes for 895 yards and 4 TDs. With Snead out, Ted Ginn and Brandon Coleman will be counted on to help pick up the slack. Michael Thomas is still the No. 1 option.
