Patrick Peterson trade rumors have been rampant after the Cardinals DB requested a trade. Despite being suspended the first six weeks of the 2019 NFL regular season, Peterson returns to the playing field this week as the Cardinals face off against Daniel Jones and the New York Giants. It’s reported that three NFL teams have called about a possible trade for the 8-time Pro Bowler, so could the Saints be one of those teams? Peterson would upgrade the Saints secondary and Carter thinks make the team a favorite to win the NFC IN THE VIDEO ABOVE AND BELOW.

A.J. Green trades have also been a hot topic around the league. While the Saints have Michael Thomas, there is no doubt that Green would become your WR1 if the Saints traded for him. We project that New Orleans would have to give up a 2020 1st round pick and would get Green and a third in return. The 31-year-old WR is in the final year of his contract with the Bengals and is set to make $12 million in base salary this year.

The Cincinnati Bengals could have a flash sell come deadline time. The Bengals sit at 0-6 right now and are in dead last of the AFC North. It’s clear their season is wrecked, so why not get something back in return. One way to do that would be trading Tyler Eifert to the New Orleans Saints. Despite signing Jared Cook just a few months ago, the Saints are reportedly interested in bringing in Eifert. When it comes to red zone presence, Eifert is a threat. However, he also comes with an injury history that might not be enough for the Saints to go all in.
