The 2019 NFL Trade Deadline is less than a week away & NFL trade rumors are heating up around the New Orleans Saints. A few Saints trade rumors are circulating about the possibility of adding a cornerback, wide receiver & tight end, with notable players such as Chris Harris Jr., Robby Anderson, Marvin Jones Jr. & Hayden Hurst as potential Saints trade targets. Will the Saints trade for any of these players before October 29th at 4pm ET?
The Saints’ secondary could use some much needed depth after the recent injury to Eli Apple. Apple suffered a hyper-extended knee vs. the Chicago Bears, so they do not have many reliable options other than Marshon Lattimore. The Denver Broncos are entering tank-mode & have already traded away Emmanuel Sanders. Could we see a Chris Harris Jr. trade this week as well?

One of the weakest positions on the Saints’ roster is at wide receiver. Outside of Michael Thomas, the Saints do not have a reliable #2 WR. Ted Ginn Jr. has not been consistent & the Saints could find better options on the trade market. Two NFL players that the Saints could target include Robby Anderson & Marvin Jones Jr. The Jets are not going to be in playoff contention, so they could go into a fire-sale mode. The Lions have a winning record, but after Marvin Jones’ unbelievable performance, his could have increased trade value.
Finally, the Saints could look into adding a tight end through trade with Jared Cook dealing with an ankle injury that kept him out vs. the Bears in week 7. With Drew Brees expected to return soon, having a viable tight end threat will be impactful.
