The rankings are everywhere. Sports Illustrated just released their Top 100 NBA Players for the 2015-16 season in the past week. CBS’s Eye on Basketball blog will release their Elite 100 at some point in the coming weeks and ESPN’s NBA Rank will start sparking Twitter debates at some point in September. With that in mind Pelican Debrief decided that ranking the New Orleans Pelicans felt like a logical exercise to do, so welcome to our Pelicans Rank project.
The basic idea of the project was simple. The staff, plus special guest Johnny Louisiana from Fansided’s New Orleans based site Big Easy Believer, sent me lists ranking the members of the Pelicans on guaranteed deals (plus Norris Cole who will be at some point soon) from best to worst.
